Wilderness Therapy Program for All Ages- Evoke

While in Utah, I was able to see many programs for adolescents and young adults who are experiencing a variety of challenges. One such program is called Evoke.

Evoke Therapy Programs, located in Southern Utah and Salt Lake, offer Wilderness Therapy and Therapeutic Intensives for children, young adults, parents, families, and couples. They see clients and families through the lens of attachment theory and utilize experiential therapy to promote healing. Many of their clients struggle with the following:

substance abuse

identity issues

family conflict

If you are currently working with a teen or young adult who you feel may benefit by enrolling at Evoke, contact Kaysha Sorensen in admissions at You can also refer your family directly to me, Oakes Hunnewell. I would be happy to answer any questions they may have about this or any other program relating to teen, young adult and family therapy. I can be reached by email at or by phone at 720-388-9616.

You are promoting kidnapping and child abuse you fucking scumbag!!!

Until you stop working with Mormon child abusers like Sunrise and Evoke we will encourage people to boycott your business.

We will continue to fight the good fight against Mormon RTCs and Wilderness programs. People with such bizarre, bigoted, and disproven beliefs shouldn’t be “helping” children.

Shame on you!

How do you feel about all the reports of sexual and physical abuse at wilderness Programs and RTCs in Utah? Why is this industry based in Utah? Are you aware that Evoke encourages parents to have their children “escorted” to Utah? That’s where people come into the child’s room in the middle of the night and handcuff them. Many refer to it as kidnapping. Oregon just banned it.

What are your thoughts on these things?

Paris Hilton has talked about her time at Provo Canyon School and the abuse she suffered there. Everyone in that industry in Utah knows each other. Do they think abuse claims are made up? Exaggerated? Do they just not care?
